Each year the race generates funds which are dispersed to local groups, individuals and projects to improve lives, support diversity and inclusion and promote involvement in community projects.

2025 Beneficiaries

Midshires Search and Rescue

Midshires Search and Rescue is the Lowland Rescue search and rescue organisation covering Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Their role is to support the Police services with specialist ground search capability for high risk missing persons. Purely voluntary, significant costs and an increase in missing persons MSR are kept busy. The Tough10 made a donation to allow the organisation to continue carrying out their great work and assisting with ongoing running costs.

Veterans Support Group

Veterans Support Group brings together around 60 veterans of all ages for regular social meet-ups - offering a space for advice, a laugh and a good cuppa. It’s a welcoming community where members can connect, share experiences and access support from a range of organisations. The Tough10 donation helps facilitate these social get-togethers, ensuring the group can continue to provide friendship, support and a sense of belonging.

Abbots Langley Parent and Toddler Group

Abbots Langley Parent and Toddler Group offers a welcoming space for young children to play, explore and make new friends - while parents and carers connect and share experiences. The group offers a wide range of activities and equipment to keep little ones engaged. The Tough10 donation supports the purchase of new dolls’ house equipment, helping to enrich imaginative play and create new experiences for the children.

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care supports individuals and families across

Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, providing expert palliative care alongside vital bereavement support when it’s needed most. The Tough10 made a donation in loving memory of John Warner, helping the charity to continue the incredible work they do.

Abbots Langley Getting Together

Abbots Langley Getting Together is a welcoming social group for older people, bringing individuals together to connect, socialise and enjoy time in good company. The Tough10 made a donation to support the running of the sessions and the introduction of new activities, ensuring the group continues to thrive and bring people together.

Crafty Ladies supporting Children’s Outpatients initiative at WGH

The Crafty Ladies is a dedicated group, bringing creativity and care together by crafting handmade items that help make hospital environments feel more welcoming and comforting for patients. Alongside this, they also create and sell their crafts to raise funds, which are then donated to the hospital. The Tough10 donation supports the running of the group and purchasing of new craft materials, enabling them to continue creating thoughtful pieces that brighten spaces and lift spirits.

Breakspear School

Breakspear School does fantastic work supporting young people with severe learning and physical difficulties, helping them to continue to thrive within the community. The Tough10 donation helps ensure that vital support continues, empowering young people to grow and develop.

Divine Saviour School

Divine Saviour is a local primary school in the community. The Tough10 donation supports a playground equipment initiative, creating a more engaging and active outdoor space where pupils can play, explore and thrive.

Monday Club

Always smiling and full of spirit, The Monday Club is a long-standing group for adults with learning difficulties who have built their own strong and supportive community over decades. From fantastic day out to a wide range of activities, The Monday Club creates opportunities for connection, enjoyment and independence. The Tough10 donation helps support the ongoing running of the group and enables even more activities, ensuring members can continue to enjoy meaningful experiences together.

Abbots Langley Orchestra

Abbots Langley Orchestra is an ambitious and friendly local ensemble, bringing musicians together to share a passion for live performance. The orchestra showcases a rich mix of talent at all levels, with rehearsals shaped by deep musical insight and infectious enthusiasm. The Tough10 donation helps to support rehearsals and the running of concerts, ensuring the orchestra can continue thriving and bringing high-quality live music to the community.

Abbots Langley School

Abbots Langley School is one of the many primary schools in the village. The Tough10 have made a donation to provide new sports equipment for pupils, helping to encourage teamwork, build confidence and support healthy lifestyles for every child.

Abbots Langley Carers Club

Abbots Langley Carers Club plays a vital role in supporting carers within the community, offering a space for connection, understanding and shared experience. The Tough10 donation helps support the running of the group, ensuring carers can continue to access the support, advice, and companionship they need.
