Ample free car parking is available in Abbots Langley, just off the High Street, behind the shops and will be clearly signposted. Runners are requested NOT to park in the community centre car park as the race route finishes through this area.
ALL RUNNERS WHO ALREADY HAVE THEIR RACE NUMBER DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN.

BENEFICIARIES
Over the years, ALTT has contributed funds to many local clubs, charities and schools.
In the past, ALTT has provided specialised beds, hoists, wheelchairs, tricycles and other equipment. For a paralysed artist, ALTT funded a special wheelchair to hold him upright for his painting work. ALTT worked very hard to support Pete’s Fund – for a local man who needed life-saving brain surgery – and have contributed to many other worthy causes.
We have also supported the Hospice of St. Francis in the past and last year we financed kitchen equipment for the new Youth and Community Centre.
Our main beneficiary this year is a local resident who may be facing the prospect of a prolonged period of medical treatment. This would mean that he will have to spend a lengthy period away from his young family and as a contributor to many of the local organisations and charities, we feel it would be nice if we could contribute to a fund to provide a short family holiday before treatment begins.
All proceeds from the races are distributed to worthy causes.
RUNNERS
Runners come from all over the country for the Tough Ten and many consider it an important part of their training schedule for marathon events.
Medals are present to all runners, and trophies and prizes to race winners.
Schools can enter teams and the sponsorship money raised is split 50/50 with the ALTT, so it is a good fund raising opportunity with little work involved.
CURRY NIGHT
Every year ALTT has a Curry Night at The Viceroy Brasserie in Abbots Langley, to raise further funds for the event.
The date this year will be Monday, September 19th. Tickets will be £15.00 and will be available from Committee Members, Langley Travel and Spicer McColl.
